Responsible for the overall Traffic Engineering design reviews, testing, validation and verification, responsible for monitoring Traffic Management operations service levels by investor consortiums
Primary Function:
Qualifications:
BSc in Engineering with major in Traffic Engineering, Elect Engineering or any closely related field
Knowledge:
· Good communications skills
· Adaptability, team work & focuses on results
· Ability to relocate / travel to rural areas frequently
· Experience:
· Minimum 7 years experience of relevant experience in the field of ITS
· At least two years demonstrable experience with ITS systems and their integration with the work process in traffic control centers.
· At least two years experience with (acceptance) testing of ITS & Traffic Management Systems.Attitude & Personal qualities:
· General Knowledge in traffic engineering, traffic operations and systems operations and management.
· Intelligent Transport Systems
· Motorway and Trunk Road Communications (NMCS2, NRTS)
· Urban Traffic Control
· Security and Speed Enforcement
· Real Time Passenger Information
· Highway Lighting/Traffic Signals
· Customer Information Systems
· Wireless Communications
